Strategic Learning and Development Leader

Embracing the vision of The University of Queensland, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Learning and Development Leader to drive our organisational learning strategy forward.
About the RoleThis key position will lead the design and implementation of innovative capability programs that empower staff across the university. You will oversee key staff development initiatives, drive the strategic vision of UQ's Learning and Development strategy, and project manage high-impact staff development projects.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Proven expertise in leading, designing, and delivering organisation-wide learning and development programs via a contemporary learning management system in a large, diverse organisation.
- Extensive understanding of contemporary curriculum and learning design for adult learners across online, hybrid and face-to-face formats.
- Strong experience in managing multiple projects, including planning, resourcing, risk management, and evaluation of learning initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary in the range $111,154 - $124,619 per annum, plus 17% superannuation contributions. Additional benefits include 26 weeks paid parental leave or 14 weeks paid primary caregiver leave, 17.5% annual leave loading, and access to flexible working arrangements, health and wellness discounts, and more.
