At The University of Queensland, we are seeking an experienced Organisational Development Specialist to join our Human Resources Division.

About This Opportunity

This is a permanent, part-time position at 80% FTE with flexibility in work patterns and a strong focus on work-life balance.

The successful candidate will lead UQ's annual Pulse Staff Engagement survey, providing critical insights to senior leaders and influencing positive change across the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution and continual improvement of UQ's Pulse Staff Engagement survey, including data analysis, reporting, and action plans to enhance year-on-year results.
  • Collaborate with HR's Client Partnering team to design and facilitate client-facing workshops focused on areas such as leadership, team development, and cultural transformation.
  • Provide expert coaching to senior leaders using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and foster organisational growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of broader organisational culture initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive staff engagement, performance, and capability development.
Salary Package

The base salary for this position is in the range $111,154 - $124,619 per annum, plus 17% superannuation contributions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in organisational development, driving cultural transformation, employee engagement, and capability development.
  • Strong analytics skills and expertise using contemporary software platforms to analyse and manipulate data sets.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and delivering impactful training sessions across diverse teams and leadership levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trusted relationships and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
