Senior Night Operations Lead

This is a high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of hotel services during nighttime hours.

The Senior Night Operations Lead will supervise and direct Front Office personnel, ensuring excellent guest service and adherence to hotel standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule planning: Assist in developing and implementing efficient scheduling practices to minimize staff turnover and ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Operations supervision: Oversee and manage night-time operations, including property management systems, to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication among Front Office teams and other departments, especially with Housekeeping.
  • Guest relations: Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly, collaborating with the General Manager/Resident Manager and relevant departments.
  • Data analysis: Prepare accurate reports on room occupancy, revenue, and sales statistics as required by the Front Office Manager.
  • Audit procedures: Ensure seamless night audit processes within the property management system and provide timely reports to all departments.
  • Policies and procedures: Supervise and guide staff to adhere to hotel policies and procedures, promoting consistency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven supervisory skills with a focus on team motivation and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with guests and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using property management systems, such as Opera.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and standard operating procedures.
  • Awareness of emergency and fire safety protocols.
