Hotel Operations Supervisor

">Job Description

As a seasoned hotel operations supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Front Office team, ensuring seamless overnight operations of the hotel. You will oversee the successful execution of Property Management System (PMS) procedures, guaranteeing courteous and efficient service to each guest in accordance with established hotel standards.

You will assist in developing and implementing training programs to maximize morale, minimize turnover, and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. Your role involves controlling room sales, maximizing revenue through effective yield management, and maintaining open communication channels within the Front Office and with other departments.

Key responsibilities include handling guest complaints, preparing occupancy and revenue reports, supervising staff to adhere to hotel policies, and actively seeking feedback from guests to ensure prompt resolution and satisfaction.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel environment
  • Excellent supervisory skills, with proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Direct experience dealing with guests, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Efficient use of PMS systems, including Opera
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and procedures
  • Familiarity with emergency and fire procedures
