We are seeking a Night Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel during nighttime hours.

About Our Ideal Candidate:

Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management preferred but not essential. Previous experience in similar roles in Front Office operations in luxury hotels/resorts is required. Good command of spoken and written English is necessary, as well as knowledge of Property Management Systems (e.g. OPERA) and competent computing skills (e.g. Microsoft Office). A drivers license, First Aid certification, and Responsible Service of Alcohol are also required. Valid working rights in Australia are necessary.

The Night Manager will be responsible for accurately reporting night activities and decision-making in case of incidents or emergencies. Regular briefings with the overnight team will be conducted to communicate company, hotel, and department information. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring performance and standards of the wider hotel during overnight functions, accurate completion of operational documents and financial audit procedures, and performing rate checks before closing to ensure accurate numbers for accounting purposes.
