We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our high-performing business team.
This role involves building professional relationships with business partners, managing lending and product requests for small business customers, and providing holistic business solutions to clients.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for customer service, demonstrated experience in a lending role, and strong financial/business acumen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners
- Managing lending and product requests for small business customers
- Performing credit analysis and approving lending requests within authority
- Providing business solutions to clients and newly introduced customers
- Managing customer portfolio risk and compliance
- Working as part of a local banking team supporting local business customers
- Optimizing operating rhythm to enhance effectiveness
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Genuine passion for customer service
- Demonstrated experience in a lending role
- Experience in managing customer relationships and credit process
- Strong financial/business acumen
- Problem solving, time management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualifications in business preferred
