Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining proactive and positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain proactive and positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules, and plan actions to complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for all costs and ensure current knowledge of the project's financial position at any point in time.
  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager to determine and communicate an effective request for information (RFI) management process with subcontractors.
  • Ensure project document control meets all contract requirements, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Develop budget targets identifying key risks and opportunities for best commercial outcomes in consultation with the Project Manager.
  • Manage and maintain cost control software, including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding of invoices.
  • Assist in preparing required reports for monthly project meetings, proactively advising of new risks, opportunities, or changes.
About You
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial awareness enables you to drive outcomes and influence beneficial relationships with project stakeholders.
  • You act decisively, problem-solve effectively, and have prior experience working for a commercial builder delivering projects of similar size and scope.
