Workplace Relations Lawyer

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Relations Lawyer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety practice, you will work with a variety of clients, advising on all aspects of workplace relations, including industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety, and anti-discrimination.
About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position that offers the opportunity to propel your legal career. You will work with a successful and impactful team, collaborating with our partners, Shae Mc Cartney, Christy Miller, and Hilary Searing. Our team is passionate, innovative, and practical, and we take pride in our team successes.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on workplace relations matters, including industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety, and anti-discrimination.
- Work on significant, high-profile matters, including industrial strategy and disputes, project management and support, compliance and regulatory matters, restructuring, underpayments, and litigation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent communication and client service skills.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety practice.
- Proven experience working on a range of employment and industrial relations matters.
- Ability to draft clear, concise, correct, and commercial advice and documents.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to communicate and build rapport with clients.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with impact to both internal contacts and external clients.
- A high degree of initiative, dedication, and organisational ability, with a strong client and commercial focus.
