Workplace Relations Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Relations Lawyer to join our Brisbane office. As a key member of our Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) practice, you will work closely with our partners to advise clients on all aspects of workplace relations, including industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety, and anti-discrimination.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of matters, from industrial strategy and disputes to project management and support, compliance and regulatory matters, restructuring, underpayments, and litigation across most Courts and Tribunals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on workplace relations matters, including industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety, and anti-discrimination
  • Work closely with our partners to develop and implement strategies to meet client needs
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide commercial and practical advice to clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience working on employment and industrial relations matters
  • Ability to draft clear, concise, correct, and commercial advice and documents
  • Strong people skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of initiative, dedication, and organisational ability
