Job Overview

This role involves delivering trauma-informed care to vulnerable children, young people, families and carers. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia, with either full registration as a Psychologist or provisional registration with an ability to fulfill full registration within relevant timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychological assessment, therapeutic interventions, and professional services to client groups.
  • Work as part of the Psychological Services team, providing holistic and culturally informed best practice interventions for young people living in Out of Home Care.
  • Be trained, supervised and supported by clinical supervisors who are experts in evidence-based trauma services.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Full registration as a Psychologist or provisional registration with an ability to fulfill full registration within relevant timeframes.
  • Experience in therapeutic frameworks for child abuse, neglect and trauma.
