About This Role

The Australian Federal Government Sales Business Development Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Australian Federal Government sector. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of navigating the complexities of the Australian Federal Government sales process and delivering results.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and familiarity with government-specific frameworks such as AusTender, ISM, PSPF, and DTA certifications for government procurement opportunities.

Candidates must be Australian citizens and eligible for an Australian Government security clearance (Baseline or higher). This is a remote/work-from-home position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Australian Federal Government sector.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
  4. Navigate complex bureaucratic environments and adapt strategies to align with government protocols and decision-making processes.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to propose solutions that meet government requirements, ensuring compliance with frameworks like the ISM and PSPF.
