We are seeking an experienced Assistant Underwriter to join our Property team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the seamless administration of our underwriting operations.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • Assist the Product Director and Underwriting team with daily running of our Property underwriting division.
  • Provide first point of contact for the Property team via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Manage daily Underwriting enquiries and process insurance premium closings, policy endorsements, and quotations.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our broking partners and insurer partners.
  • Contribute to the development of our IT systems and internal processes to drive operational efficiencies.

  • You have a strong background in insurance underwriting and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are proficient in using computer systems and various platforms, including Microsoft Office.
  • You are confident, focused, and able to handle pressure and stressful situations.
