Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Property Underwriter to join our General Insurance business. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Senior Underwriters to service new and existing business, developing and utilizing a broad knowledge of our General Property product offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our General Property product offering and relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Work closely with Senior Underwriters to service new and existing business, handling complex tasks and supporting broker and customer enquiries.
  • Utilize exceptional communication and organizational skills to achieve sales and retention targets, while interacting with the market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in underwriting, preferably general insurance lines of business.
  • ANZIIF CIP qualifications.
  • Knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations governing the General Insurance industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
