Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Financial Lines team as an Assistant Underwriter. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional client service and supporting the Underwriter in all aspects of policy administration.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage new business submissions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Correspond with brokers, coordinating placements and handling inquiries.
- Prepare underwriting files, including data input, market research, and quote preparation.
- Liaise with internal departments for credit control, claims, and risk information.
- Assist in the coordination of placements, including submission review and local coverage requirements.
- Quote and bind endorsements, and coordinate nil premium amendments.
- Reconcile aged finance items and ensure underwriting files are complete and audit-ready.
- Support the development and implementation of business processing tools.
- 1+ years' experience in the insurance industry.
- Excellent computer literacy and communication skills.
- Superior problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining good working relationships.
- Experience working to tight deadlines and SLAs is desirable.
