As a leader in the natural health industry, we are seeking an experienced Category Development Leader for Pharmacy to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our biggest and most strategic channel, developing and implementing the pharmacy channel strategy across all key customers. This includes unit, sales & share growth, winning range reviews, promotional effectiveness & objective category partnerships.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business, economics, commerce or a related discipline and have a minimum 10 years' experience in senior roles across category management or customer/channel leadership. Proven experience in the pharmacy channel, particularly with Chemist Warehouse and health & wellness categories, is essential.
The role has direct responsibility and is the category lead for Chemist Warehouse. Key deliverables within the channel are unit, sales & share growth, winning range reviews, promotional effectiveness & objective category partnerships.

- Develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with business goals and customer priorities, particularly within Chemist Warehouse and the broader pharmacy channel.
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) and external stakeholders to drive alignment and shared success.
- Lead change initiatives across the channel, introducing new ways of working, process improvements, and capability development.
- Represent the company as a category expert, influencing customer strategies and contributing to the health and wellness agenda.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 2 Category Managers and 2 Assistant Category Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Owning the commercial performance of the pharmacy channel, including promotional planning, pricing strategy, and performance tracking.
