About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Retail Assistant - Buys and Loans Operator to join our Merrylands team in a Casual capacity.

This role is based in our Buys and Loans Department, where you will be responsible for accurately performing day-to-day transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform day-to-day transactions in the Buys and Loans department
  • Ensure KPI targets are achieved through actively seeking pricing feedback and trends
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by actively listening to and understanding their needs
  • Effectively communicate pricing, valuation, and pawnbroking options to customers
  • Perform all transactions in line with company and legislative requirements
About You

We are looking for an individual with proven customer service experience, ideally within a retail environment. An interest in Technology, Gaming, Collectables, Jewellery, or Tools and Hardware would be highly regarded.

You should have strong communication skills that build rapport, trust, and demonstrate compassion. The ability to discuss and clearly explain contract details with customers is essential.

Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
