About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant - Buys and Loans Operator in a Casual capacity.

This is a dynamic retail-based role, where you will be responsible for accurately performing day-to-day transactions in our Buys and Loans department.

  • Ensure KPI targets are achieved through actively seeking pricing feedback and trends.
  • Build lasting relationships with our customers by actively listening to and understanding their needs.
  • Effectively communicate pricing, valuation, and pawnbroking options to our loyal customers.
  • Perform all transactions in line with company and legislative requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment and work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven customer service experience, ideally within a retail environment.
  • An interest in Technology, Gaming, Collectables, Jewellery, or Tools and Hardware.
  • Confident negotiation skills that enable you to achieve win-win outcomes with customers.
  • Previous experience in a Second-Hand Buyer role is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills that build rapport, trust, and demonstrate compassion.
