As a Technical Sales Representative at Sika, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to existing customers, while developing new business opportunities in line with targets and budgets.

You will liaise and communicate with key stakeholders to provide product information, pricing, and promotional initiatives, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Additionally, you will provide market information to the Sales Manager to inform planning and decision-making.

Other key responsibilities include ensuring adequate stock levels, obtaining stock orders at retail locations, and completing all call cycles on schedule, recording activities in Salesforce.

You will also be responsible for undertaking merchandising stock in stores as needed, growing Sika's market share by establishing quality relationships with key retail distribution customers, and supporting all Sika retail distribution business activities.

Furthermore, you will develop and conduct Sika brand support activities, including trade breakfasts and promotional events, identify customer training opportunities, and support with training programs.

Finally, you will participate in internal and external training as needed, and prepare and present monthly activity summaries to the manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service and relationship management skills, as well as the ability to develop business presentations and sales information with the sales team.

You will also need to be comfortable liaising with all decision-makers and working with B2B and Channel Distribution, and be a competent, team player, reliable, energetic, and capable of working autonomously with a strong marketing and sales aptitude.

Additionally, you will need to have a University or Trade degree, or minimum of 3 years' experience in an Industrial Market Field, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, or SAP.

Knowledge and previous merchandising experience in a related industry is desirable.
