This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management while managing a portfolio of SME, domestic, and commercial clients. Based in East Melbourne with good transport links and parking spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Support senior management with larger client portfolios, gaining exposure to complex risks and client interactions.
- Process and handle client requests, quotes, certificates of currency, and policy documentation via WinBEAT, Sunrise, and Steadfast systems.
- Attend client meetings and build strong professional relationships.
- $75-95k + super and up to 30% commission on new business brought in.
- E-tag, mobile phone, parking space, and salary sacrifice car option.
- Team lunches and a genuinely enjoyable company culture.
- A stable and privately owned brokerage with excellent staff retention and a reputation for honesty, transparency, and professionalism.
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an insurance account assistant or similar role.
- Tier 1 qualified.
- Strong skills using WinBEAT, Sunrise, and Steadfast platforms.
- Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach.
- Keen to develop and eventually grow into managing larger, more complex accounts.
