Insurance Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced insurance portfolio manager to lead on a large domestic portfolio.

  • The successful candidate will have a broad mix of experience, covering domestic and personal insurance.
  • A strong track record of managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, cross-selling, and retaining business is crucial.
About the Role

This role would see you take on a large book of work (circa: $500k) for clients across a broad domestic portfolio, covering predominantly motor, property, and liability lines.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance clients
  • Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions across multiple lines
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service excellence
  • Prepare and present insurance quotes, renewals, and policy documentation
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms and resolve issues
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures
  • Assist with claims management and client advocacy during the claims process
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced insurance broker, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in account management and an ability to manage a book independently.

A broad mix of experience, covering domestic and personal insurance, although knowledge of commercial lines would be beneficial too.

A proven track record of managing a portfolio of HNW clients, cross-selling, and retaining business is essential.
