Senior Insurance Portfolio Manager Role

This is a highly regarded insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Portfolio Manager to lead on a large portfolio of clients.

The company offers insurance solutions to a broad range of domestic and commercial clients, predominantly across motor, liability, financial lines and other areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance clients
  • Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions across multiple lines (e.g., motor, property, liability, financial lines)
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service excellence
  • Prepare and present insurance quotes, renewals, and policy documentation
  • Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms and resolve issues
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures
  • Assist with claims management and client advocacy during the claims process

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in senior insurance portfolio management and an ability to manage a book independently.

The ideal candidate will have a broad mix of experience, covering domestic and personal insurance, although knowledge of commercial lines would be beneficial too.

A proven track record of managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, cross-selling, and retaining business is crucial.
