Family Accommodation Officer

The Family Accommodation Service provides accommodation for patients, carers and families attending our hospital. Our focus is on those from rural areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational running of the Family Accommodation Service
  • Development and implementation of administrative programs, policies and procedures
  • Management of the booking system and wait list
  • Processing Risk Assessments/New Referrals
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Supervising maintenance work and renovations
  • Safeguarding security and compliance
Requirements
  • Administrative, coordination and financial management skills
  • Interpersonal, communication, assessment and problem solving skills
  • Capacity to work independently and self-driven
  • Ability to promote a welcoming and supportive atmosphere

As a successful candidate, you will have the necessary skills to provide high levels of care and support to families in crisis or grief.
