Community Engagement Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our student accommodation team as a Community Engagement Specialist.

The successful candidate will be a warm and welcoming presence for residents, visitors, and prospects, responding to inquiries with friendly professionalism.

Key responsibilities include managing package deliveries, guest suite bookings, lift scheduling, and resident enquiries, while keeping shared spaces and front-of-house areas tidy, safe, and ready to impress.

Additional tasks include supporting daily admin and operational duties, such as data entry, resident communications, and CRM updates, as well as assisting with planning, promoting, and running resident engagement events and activities.

Able to keep up-to-date local knowledge and other items of interest for residents, the ideal candidate will also promote resident satisfaction by addressing questions, feedback, and maintenance requests quickly and effectively.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles such as hospitality, accommodation, or real estate
  • Excellent customer service skills with a cheerful attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A natural team player with confidence to work independently when needed
  • Solid organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Tech-savvy: comfortable with email, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and internet research
  • Cultural awareness and adaptability to connect with a diverse resident base
  • Compliance & Licensing: Must hold a valid driver's license and have the ability to obtain a favourable National Criminal History Check and Working with Children check
