Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at AltX Group. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships across our full suite of mortgage products, with a particular focus on the long-term product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and their customers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications, or existing loans.
  • Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion.
  • Help educate brokers around all loan opportunities and how it can drive their business growth.
  • Support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies, and broker/customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales, and relationship management with proven experience in mortgage lending and third-party intermediary spaces.
  • Experience in the banking, non-bank, and finance industries, specifically within the broker space.
  • Current relationships and contacts within the broker market.
  • Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to understand complex industry segments and utilize this understanding to develop initiatives to drive growth.
  • Understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Sound understanding of and experience in project management methodologies.
