Business Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at AltX Group. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships across our full suite of mortgage products, with a particular focus on the long-term product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and their customers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications, or existing loans.
- Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion.
- Help educate brokers around all loan opportunities and how it can drive their business growth.
- Support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies, and broker/customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales, and relationship management with proven experience in mortgage lending and third-party intermediary spaces.
- Experience in the banking, non-bank, and finance industries, specifically within the broker space.
- Current relationships and contacts within the broker market.
- Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
- Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment.
- Ability to understand complex industry segments and utilize this understanding to develop initiatives to drive growth.
- Understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills.
- Sound understanding of and experience in project management methodologies.
