About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our ACT team. As a Director of Rehabilitation Services, you will provide leadership and direction to your team of rehabilitation consultants, engage with customers, and maintain a caseload of your own.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of rehabilitation consultants to achieve high performance and quality standards.
  • Oversee the team's performance and quality, ensuring excellent customer service and outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues, and employees.
  • Explore new opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
  • Conduct assessments and case work, utilizing your expertise in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, psychology, social work, nursing, or rehabilitation counseling.
Requirements
  • A degree in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, psychology, social work, nursing, or rehabilitation counseling.
  • At least two years' experience in workers compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation.
  • A willingness to travel, requiring a current vehicle and driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident approach to engaging with multiple stakeholders.
  • An inclusive and integrative attitude towards working with diverse cultural groups.
  • A passion for mentoring and coaching, with a proven track record of success.
  • Determination to consistently deliver exceptional customer service to large customers.
  • A keen sense of punctuality and effective time management.
