**Rehabilitation Consultant Role at WorkFocus**
We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Canberra, supporting people to get well and working. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in people's lives.
About the Role:
We provide a range of services to prevent and minimise the social, physical, psychological and financial consequences of injury and illness. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services, helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and develop effective rehabilitation plans
- Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
- Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals, understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Requirements:
- Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation
- Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
- A commitment to high-level customer service to your clients and customers
- Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
