Workplace Health and Safety Business Partner

This is a new role with a focus on partnering with Yooralla leadership and staff to promote and deliver a proactive and preventative safety culture through the provision of high-quality and best practice workplace health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and support and to respond to issues and incidents as identified.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with Yooralla leadership and staff to promote and deliver a proactive and preventative safety culture
- Provide high-quality and best practice workplace health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and support
- Respond to issues and incidents as identified
- Develop and implement WHS systems and processes
- Provide technical expertise on risk management processes
- Facilitate effective collaboration and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a business partnership capacity alongside leaders in the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing solutions
- Experience working with and developing WHS systems and processes
- Extensive knowledge of the OH&S Act 2004 and Regulations
- Familiarity with contemporary practice in relation to the management of key risks in the disability sector including Manual Handling and Psycho-social risk
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation influencing, stakeholder management and general negotiation skills
