About the Role

This is a new role with a focus on partnering with Yooralla leadership and staff to promote and deliver a proactive and preventative safety culture through the provision of high-quality and best practice workplace health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and support and to respond to issues and incidents as identified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with Yooralla leadership and staff to promote and deliver a proactive and preventative safety culture
  • Provide high-quality and best practice workplace health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and support
  • Respond to issues and incidents as identified
  • Develop and implement WHS systems and processes
  • Provide technical expertise on risk management processes
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience working in a business partnership capacity alongside leaders in the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing solutions
  • Experience working with and developing WHS systems and processes
  • Extensive knowledge of the OH&S Act 2004 and Regulations
  • Familiarity with contemporary practice in relation to the management of key risks in the disability sector including Manual Handling and Psycho-social risk
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation influencing, stakeholder management and general negotiation skills
