Your Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Yooralla leadership and staff to promote and deliver a proactive and preventative safety culture.
  • Provide high-quality and best practice workplace health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and support.
  • Respond to issues and incidents as identified.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement WHS systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and education to staff on WHS matters to ensure a culture of safety and wellness.
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance and identify areas for improvement.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a business partnership capacity alongside leaders in the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing solutions.
  • Experience working with and developing WHS systems and processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of the OH&S Act 2004 and Regulations.
  • Familiarity with contemporary practice in relation to the management of key risks in the disability sector, including Manual Handling and Psycho-social risk.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation influencing, stakeholder management and general negotiation skills.
