Your Key Responsibilities- Partner with Yooralla leadership and staff to promote and deliver a proactive and preventative safety culture.
- Provide high-quality and best practice workplace health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and support.
- Respond to issues and incidents as identified.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement WHS systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and education to staff on WHS matters to ensure a culture of safety and wellness.
- Monitor and report on WHS performance and identify areas for improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in a business partnership capacity alongside leaders in the delivery of health, safety and wellbeing solutions.
- Experience working with and developing WHS systems and processes.
- Extensive knowledge of the OH&S Act 2004 and Regulations.
- Familiarity with contemporary practice in relation to the management of key risks in the disability sector, including Manual Handling and Psycho-social risk.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation influencing, stakeholder management and general negotiation skills.
