Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist Opportunity

Our client has been delivering high-quality workplace and community health services for over 35 years. With an expanding footprint across the Illawarra and beyond, they are now seeking a qualified professional to join their multidisciplinary team in Wollongong.

As a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will guide individuals through recovery and sustainable return-to-work programs, leveraging your expertise in Functional Capacity, Vocational, and other workplace assessments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively with insurers, employers, medical teams, and other stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology, along with full registration, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational rehabilitation services across Same Employer and/or New Employer streams
  • Conduct thorough assessments to inform return-to-work strategies
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to facilitate clients' successful transition back to work
  • Maintain open communication channels with clients, employers, and other stakeholders throughout the process

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology
  • Full registration with relevant professional body
