Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to work closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to provide psychological or physical supports that enable individuals to live life to its fullest potential. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct case management for clients with various conditions;
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and allied health professionals;
  • Work across various schemes to assist clients achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Complete assessments using clinical skills to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with ASORC;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy;
  • Well-developed time management skills;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance required.
