About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Procurement Strategist to join our Group Procurement & Sustainability team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability and supplier innovation strategies.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that enhance Asahi's sustainable procurement practices, aligning closely with our core values and long-term goals. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Supply, and serve as the central contact for sustainability procurement across the Oceania region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and execute strategic sustainability initiatives within procurement to elevate business performance and support Asahi's long-term goals.
  • Action Planning: Develop action plans with defined targets and responsibilities to address key sustainability challenges.
  • Procurement Goals: Drive the execution of procurement goals focusing on Sustainability and Innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with regional teams and external partners to create and implement coordinated sustainability plans.
  • Metric Tracking: Monitor and track sustainability metrics, including objectives and KPIs, ensuring alignment with governance and policies.
  • Culture Promotion: Promote a culture of sustainability, leading education and communications around initiatives like Climate Action, Water Stewardship, and Circular Packaging.
  • Capability Building: Oversee and align Modern Slavery & Human Rights Due Diligence and support building capability in teams to deliver our goals in these areas.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in sustainability and supply chain management, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to engage diverse teams and stakeholders with a change agent mindset.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. We're committed to providing a competitive compensation package and offer a range of benefits to support your career growth and well-being.
