Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Microsoft. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in project management, procurement, and supply chain operations.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for driving strategy development and compliance through supplier selection, award, and contract management. The ideal candidate will have experience working in complex capital projects and a proven track record of meeting on-time delivery targets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee Supplier labor management in coordination with General Contractor, Scheduling Teams, and Internal Planning Teams.
  • Negotiate and manage change orders for overtime, schedule compression, and acceleration.
  • Lead Change Order after CDEs & Tech Submittals are complete with Suppliers before Construction begins.
  • Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders on the project.
  • Attend management meetings to ensure any change orders for additional equipment are executed promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ Years Experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Operations.
  • Hyperscale data center or large building construction experience in an owner or general contractor capacity.
  • Knowledge of data center industry and experience managing a variety of project delivery methods.
