Civil Operations Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Operations Lead to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead a small team within our Civil Assets Maintenance section, undertaking roads and drainage works to meet requirements in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, and supervise a team of Civil Operations Asset Maintenance staff
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve operational objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of completed work, materials, and resources used
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve strategic goals
Requirements
  • Good knowledge and experience in civil operations and asset maintenance functions
  • Ability to work within a team environment and lead by example
  • Previous experience in supervising and training staff
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in operating plant and equipment
  • Experience in recording and reporting completed work, materials, and resources used daily
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able and willing to learn to use mobility in daily planning and execution of tasks
  • Current MR Driver's licence and appropriate Work Cover certificates and other mandatory licences
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Relevant certificate or working towards a certificate
  • Availability to work flexible working hours and to work overtime as required
Benefits

The salary for this position starts at $66,737.32 per year (approximately $1,271.21 per week), based on a 38-hour working week with rostered day off every fortnight. Additionally, you can enjoy employee benefits such as leave entitlements, employer contribution to your superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
