Drive Project Success at Humes

Humes, a world-leading sustainable building materials company, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead its production projects from order stage through to final delivery and site follow-up.

About the Role

This pivotal position involves managing a small team of project managers and overseeing the overall management of production projects. Key objectives include driving project performance to achieve tendered objectives and targets, ensuring timely delivery of quality products and services that meet customer expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing manufacturing and delivery programs, ensuring correct specifications and quality, reviewing contracts and specifications to limit Humes' exposure to potential risks, and monitoring project budgets in liaison with operational stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in civil engineering principles or a sound understanding thereof;
  • Experience in Precast, Concrete, and/or related industries;
  • Knowledge of Quantity Surveying, Estimating, and Tendering;
  • Extensive project management experience;
  • Able to read drawings;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • In-depth knowledge of contractual matters and commercial awareness;
  • Proactive approach to managing time, cost, quality, and OH&S issues.
