As an Assistant Leading Hand at Symmetry Human Resources Group Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production hall. Reporting directly to the shift Leading Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities and personnel within the hall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign and coordinate tasks for the production team to ensure efficient operation.
  • Operate machines to produce conforming products and conduct regular testing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and Food Safety requirements at all times.
  • Conduct daily inspections to identify and rectify any non-conformances.
  • Monitor and record waste and scrap during the shift period.
  • Complete daily shift changeovers and maintain accurate production records.

Requirements

Applicants must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of WHS and Food Safety protocols is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
