Our client, a leading Freight Forwarder, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their team in Melbourne. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing strong business relationships across the VIC region within the International Freight channels.

The Role:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in Sea Freight and Air Freight logistics.
  • Build and develop new and existing business relationships to grow your pipeline and achieve/exceed sales targets.
  • Lead and develop Business Plans across all accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accounts are managed appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects that matches the company's strategies.
  • Complete sales reports and other administration tasks where required.

Your Background:

  • We are seeking 5 years plus of experience in Key Accounts or Business Development within the Transport industry.
  • Analytical problem solver who brings value-added solutions to customers.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer relationship skills.
  • Exceptional negotiating skills and an excellent communicator.
