About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator, Customer Experience and Sales to join our team at Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre. As a key member of our Member Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our members have a great experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the front-line member engagement team, ensuring consistent and high-quality service to drive member acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Customer Experience and Sales to achieve sales targets.
  • Handle rostering, payroll, budget control, on-the-job training, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as an escalation point for member and guest feedback, providing constructive information to continuously enhance the customer experience.
  • Follow established procedures for memberships, point of sale transactions, cash handling, venue hire bookings, and administration.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of leading front-line teams with focus on customer experience and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, fostering respectful and ethical relationships with staff, students, and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and attention to detail with effective time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including database management.
About Us

Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre is a multi-purpose venue designed to meet the health, fitness, and sporting needs of our members and guests. Our facilities include a 6-lane heated indoor pool, an 8-lane outdoor heated Olympic-sized swimming pool, a fully equipped health club, group and virtual fitness classes, squash courts, gymnastics/aquatics programs, and social sports.

Our centre operates 7 days a week, with facilities including 5 professional playing fields, stadium lighting, canteen and BBQ areas, and four change rooms.
