We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Clinical Excellence Hub team as a Customer Outcomes and Experience Strategist. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the way we provide end-to-end management of restrictive practices and positive behaviour support within our disability and mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines related to the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices and improved outcomes and experiences for individuals.
- Evolving Restrictive Practices Management System: Evolve our restrictive practices management system, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of data to enable us to reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practices.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to staff on alternative strategies and approaches to support people within a holistic and values-driven approach.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at promoting positive, effective, and inclusive support environments.
- Qualifications: Qualifications in an allied health or related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Behaviour Support, or Disability Studies.
- Experience: Previous practice experience in working in environments that implement restrictive practices or positive behaviour support.
- Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and understanding of NDIS and associated State and Commonwealth legislation, guidelines, standards, and principles related to restrictive practices management and positive behaviour support.
- Communication and Analytical Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders in a sensitive and professional manner. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to inform decision-making and identify trends.
- Collaboration and Independence: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive starting salary with the incentive of NFP salary Packaging of $15,900 and an entertainment allowance of $2,650.
