About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Associate to join our team at Calvary Care. As a Hospitality Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of catering and presentation while handling, preparing, and storing food, as well as associated cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the catering service to meet residents' food requirements, including food preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution, and serving meals.
  • Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of dining rooms.
  • Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleaning to residents' rooms and general areas.
  • Adhere to infection control, manual handling, and WHS procedures.
  • Maintain efficient and open communication.
What You Bring:
  • Experience in basic food preparation and micro-fibre cleaning is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service approach, friendly, and bubbly personality.
  • Effective time management skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia, including those who display challenging behaviors.
  • Basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care standards.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
