Facilities Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance, repairs, and services for the entire hotel property, interior and exterior.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Directing and coordinating routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
  • Developing and enforcing routine maintenance checklists and procedures to ensure equipment is used and maintained correctly by all team members.
  • Managing repairs and maintenance to avoid major interruption to business operations.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Facilities Manager will also be expected to:

  • Develop and enforce procedures for equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain the Maintenance Management System accurately.
  • Provide assistance and support to other departments and/or colleagues when needed.
  • Be a brand ambassador for the hotel and its parent company.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and participate in training and development programs.
  • Demonstrate leadership, guidance, and assistance to colleagues where needed.
  • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Work together with trust and treat all guests and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect.

To be successful in this role, the Facilities Manager must have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in maintaining large-scale properties and managing teams.

A degree in a related field such as facilities management, engineering, or hospitality management is preferred. A valid driver's license and physical fitness to cope with a labor-intensive operation are also required.
