Facilities Manager - Healthcare

The Facilities Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the upkeep of facilities across multiple locations.

This position is responsible for implementing efficient maintenance programs, supervising refurbishment works, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills, extensive experience in building and construction, and a strong understanding of safe work practices.

  • Responsibilities include managing various trades, prompt actioning of works orders, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to effectively manage a team and coordinate with stakeholders.
Requirements:

Applicants must hold tertiary qualifications in Building/Construction or extensive industry experience with related trade qualifications/licences.

  • A SafeWork approved White Card is required for this role.
  • Project management capability for building works and contract management is crucial.
  • Demonstrated experience in planned/corrective maintenance programming in complex environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent driving skills with an Australian C-Class license are also necessary.
