About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and driven Enterprise Sales Professional to expand our business within the Federal Government space in Australia.
This role will report into the Regional Vice President of Public Sector Sales for ANZ and work collaboratively with a talented sales team, technical specialists, and marketing professionals to leverage Elastic's solutions and meet client needs.
- Develop awareness and drive demand for Elastic solutions within Federal Government accounts by helping users derive value from their data sets.
- Promote and demonstrate the capabilities of our commercial features while communicating the benefits of our Open Source offerings.
- Identify new and diverse applications use cases to enable users to work more efficiently.
- Collaborate across Elastic business functions to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Work closely with customers to identify new business opportunities, manage through the sales cycle, and close complex transactions.
- BUILD A STRONG BUSINESS PLAN THROUGH COMMUNITY, CUSTOMER, AND PARTNER ECOSYSTEMS TO DRIVE SIGNIFICANT ELASTIC GROWTH WITHIN YOUR TERRITORY
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a quota-carrying, B2B sales position.
- Extensive experience selling to Federal Government agencies within Australia.
- A track-record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into multiple large businesses, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references.
- A deep understanding and preferably experience selling into the ecosystem we live in, including Enterprise Search, Logging, Security, APM, and Cloud.
- The ability to build relationships and credibility with both Developers and Executives.
- Predictable and accurate forecasting capabilities.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build trust with clients, and have a strong understanding of the Federal Government space in Australia. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
