
Federal Government Account Growth Specialist

We seek a Sales Professional to acquire new business and expand existing accounts within the Federal Government space.
This role will report into a Regional Vice President of Public Sector Sales and work alongside a talented sales team, collaborate with technical and marketing teams, and leverage the power of Elastic's solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Building awareness and driving demand for our solutions within Federal Government accounts
- Serving as an evangelist for Open Source offerings while communicating commercial features
- Uncovering diverse applications use cases to enable users to work smarter
- Collaborating across business functions to ensure seamless customer experience
- Managing sales cycle and closing complex transactions with clients
- A minimum of 10 years B2B sales experience with quota carrying position
- Extensive experience selling to Federal Government agencies in Australia
- A track-record of success in SaaS subscription sales into large businesses, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
- Deep understanding and preferably experience selling into Enterprise Search, Logging, Security, APM, and Cloud ecosystem
- Ability to build relationships and credibility with Developers and Executives
- Predictable and accurate forecasting capabilities
