The Role of a Senior Event Manager is multifaceted and highly rewarding.
As the key figure in managing conferences and events for corporate clients, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of each event, from initial planning through to execution and post-event follow-up.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of conference and event management for corporate clients, from brief through to delivery
  • Management of an internal team of events professionals on projects, including mentoring them to assist with their growth
  • Built relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Event budget management and negotiation with suppliers to secure optimal costs for client events
  • Leading on-site event operations, including troubleshooting problems and making timely decisions to ensure the best outcome for clients
  • Conducting site inspections for events, overseeing venue negotiations, and managing supplier contracts
  • Development of creative event concepts and proposals that align with client objectives and enhance attendee experience
  • Post-event reporting, including evaluation of outcomes and recommendations for future improvements for clients

About You:

  • Extensive experience working in the events industry, preferably as an Event Manager or Senior Event Manager within the conference space
  • Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role
  • Strong event management skills, with a demonstrated background in conference and event management
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • High detail oriented and quality focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences
  • Proven track record of building solid relationships with a broad set of stakeholders
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours when required
  • Ability to work from the office 3-4 days per week
