About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of First Nations individuals. As an Indigenous Liaison Officer, you will work closely with government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners to improve employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, service providers, and government agencies.
- Identify and address barriers to employment for First Nations people, and develop strategies to overcome these challenges.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations to promote employment opportunities and skills development programs.
- Provide cultural intelligence and support to staff and senior executives on matters affecting First Nations people.
