Culturally Sensitive Mental Health Specialist

Metro South Health is a leading digital health service in Queensland, serving over one million people or approximately 23 per cent of the state's population. We're seeking an Aboriginal Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to delivering culturally sensitive mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate access and engagement by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the local community through education, network development, direct assistance, and participation in community consultation mechanisms.
- Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services.
- Undertake regular supervision and training with professional and operational management to ensure support and build mental health service delivery competency and skills.
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and experience working with Indigenous communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
