Job Overview

The Warranty Claim Specialist will be responsible for evaluating and resolving warranty claims in accordance with OEM policies and guidelines. This involves reviewing claim submissions, assessing technical information, and making informed decisions regarding claim approvals or rejections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate warranty claim submissions to determine their validity and adherence to OEM policies and procedures.
  • Assess technical information provided by customers and dealerships to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Make informed decisions regarding claim approvals or rejections, taking into account OEM policies, local bulletins, and other relevant factors.
  • Communicate with dealerships and customers to provide updates on claim status and to clarify any issues or concerns.
  • Manage and submit claims via SAP or designated systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconcile monthly OEM credit notes to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a warranty-related role, preferably at dealership or OEM level.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and SAP skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret technical data.
  • Communication & Organisation: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Core Competencies: Customer-centric, accountable, decisive, with strong planning, influencing, negotiation, and business acumen.
