About the Role
As a leading manufacturer of battery-electric, hybrid-electric, and internal combustion passenger vehicles, we are seeking a highly skilled Warranty Specialist to join our team.
This role will be based in our Sydney office, reporting directly to the Director of the Aftersales team in Australia. You will work closely with the Aftersales Team in the APAC region, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Adjudicating warranty claims and pre-work authorizations;
- Monitoring and reporting vehicle failure trends and dealer service operation issues through Business Intelligence tools;
- Managing on-claims to suppliers and follow-ups to achieve desired outcomes for both the business and customers;
- Supporting the Aftersales team on Recall and Service Campaign management;
- Leading the continuous development of Warranty policy and guidelines;
- Assisting with the development of the Dealer Management System and claim system;
- Supporting the Aftersales Operations Manager in ad-hoc complex warranty topics and projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
We are looking for someone with strong experience within insurance, claims, warranties, or after-sales environments. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of vehicle components and repair procedures, as well as excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BI tools is preferred.
