We are seeking a highly skilled Lifestyle and Leisure Events Coordinator to join our team at Opal HealthCare.

About the Role:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life for residents in our care communities.
  • Work closely with the Wellbeing Manager to curate a tailored calendar of social events and experiences that cater to diverse resident interests.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of social activities that promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Support the orientation and training of volunteers, fostering positive relationships within our community.
  • Liaise with volunteers to attend and/or host social events, strengthening connections between residents, families, and team members.
  • Contribute to Community Engagement, Social Impact, and Sustainability initiatives and projects under the guidance of the Wellbeing Manager and General Manager.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and team members, ensuring exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For:

  • A tertiary qualification in event management (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) and/or relevant qualification (desirable).
  • Previous experience in delivering events and activities that bring joy and engagement to others.
  • Previous aged care experience (desirable).
  • Previous event coordinator and/or team engagement experience.

Your Next Steps:

Please note that all applicants must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical, police clearance, and NDIS worker's clearance as part of our hiring process. Estimated annual salary: AU$55,000 - AU$70,000 based on location and experience.
