Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Kinnect. As a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping injured workers return to work and promoting a culture of workplace health and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a client-centered approach.
- Assess injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
- Visiting workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educating employers on injury prevention.
- Provide clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
- Case manage complex injuries and coordinate with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
- Professional accreditation in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or rehabilitation counseling, with the ability to obtain registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or RCAA.
- Experience working within ACC (NZ accident compensation scheme) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
