About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Kinnect. As a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping injured workers return to work and promoting a culture of workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals engage in meaningful occupations through a client-centered approach.
  • Assess injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
  • Visiting workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educating employers on injury prevention.
  • Provide clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing.
  • Case manage complex injuries and coordinate with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
What You Will Bring
  • Professional accreditation in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or rehabilitation counseling, with the ability to obtain registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, or RCAA.
  • Experience working within ACC (NZ accident compensation scheme) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
